Our Experience

allows us to design and provide filtration solutions for several types and sizes of water contaminants; various filtration technologies can be applied either alone or in combination for addressing most challenging cases.

A WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

Filtration is widely used as single process or as part of pre-treatment for further operation; according to hydraulic conditions multiple vertical or horizontal vessels are used. 

Based on fluid characteristics and performance results to be obtained, different media are used e.g. sand, gravel, activated carbon, nutshells, coalescing resins, etc. and vessel materials are selected accordingly. 

Membrane technologies are also applied for advanced separation, where high removal capability and retention value are required.

ULTRAFILTRATION

Membranes are used when high removal capability for smallest particles (viruses, bacteria, colloids, etc.) and recovery rates are required, with final filtrated water quality at its best.

CARTRIDGE

Often used as microfilters protection upstream the RO elements, they find they application for fine removal of particles and as guard filters, with different levels of filtration, from few upto hundreds microns mesh

SAND / MULTIMEDIA

Extensively used for several pretreatments of different type of waters (primary, process, seawater, etc.), such units are charged with various granulometry sand and gravel media in atmospheric or pressure vessel arrangement

ACTIVATED CARBON

These filters are widely used in many processes and have the scope to remove organics from water as well as are used for free residual chlorine removal in disinfection processes. 

BASKET

These are manual cleaning screen filters, with internal basket typically manufactured in stainless steel material. Typically used for retaining larger suspended solids, they can be customized with different materials and filtration mesh.
